On Friday, December 19, the Patient Advocacy Summit: Value Tools for Patients in Cancer Care at the National Press Club took place in Washington, D.C. The Patient Advocacy Summit provided an opportunity for a varied group of stakeholders including patients, patient advocacy organizations, providers, payers, industry, and government, to discuss current gaps of value tools, examine principles and parameters of future value tools for patients, and debate where the oncology community is headed on this important issue.
